Introduction to Device Physics

Undergraduate course, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Maryland, 2018

This is a course of fundametnal semiconductor physics. The topics include introduction to the basic structure of matter and its descriptiona; basics of integrated circuit process technology, atoms; molecules and solids: basic physical modelsa; optical and thermally driven processes, generation and recombination phenomena; PN junction phenomena; field Effect transistors; bipolar transistors; CMOS device structures.

I aimed to improve students’ understanding the topics by providing weekly discussion, exercise problems, and quizzes.
