Experimental Devices in General Physics

This work was to render 3D model for the old version of the experimental devices that were used in the course of General Physics at National Taiwan University. The CAD modeling of these devices are now presented at NTU heritage hall of Physics. The following pictures are selected examples.
Doppler machine
This device demonstrates the doppler effect that occurs when the souce of waves is moving with respect to an observer.
Gyropscope
This device shows gyroscopic effect that describes the ability of the rotating body to maintain a steady direction of its axis of rotation.
Generator
This generator shows students how electricity can be generated by mechanical force.
